Mjödhamnen takes over Odinsborg

Epidemic or not, we run the 3rd year in a row!

With the exception of some changes for everyone's comfort and safety, we will run at full speed from Friday to Sunday. This year there are pre-sale tickets so you know you get the chance to participate, the ticket includes: 1st mead trial, entry to the market and a chance to participate in the draw where the winner will be announced on the last day of the festival! This is a festival in the historical spirit and is the first festival in Sweden that focuses primarily on mead, but of course also offers other drinks, honey of all kinds, food and crafts.

This year's festival will take place inside Odinsborg upstairs in the Viking room. The main purpose of the festival is to show the magical world of mead, but the party will be due. covid-19 a little different. Instead of an open house, our fantastic employees at Mjöd Nörd hold mead trials on the assembly line and there will be both advance tickets and drop-in, subject to availability.

In addition to Mjödhamnen's own selection, Polish and American mead will also be served.

In addition to the sale of mead, there will be honey for sale, both locally produced and honey from different parts of the world, and also some sellers.

There will also be cooking outdoors in the form of grilling or the like, depending on what the weather allows. We also hope that our mead bus will be in place. We hope for many spontaneous outbursts in addition to this and have heard rumors that Vikings may appear on Saturday ..!
